Welcome to the Dead Ad Society, hungryman’s anti-award show award show, where great advertising ideas that died too soon get another chance at life.

Every year, creatives from around the world dig into their graveyards and submit scripts they loved that, for whatever reason, never got made. Killed by the client. Killed by the budget. Killed in round 17. We don’t care how it died. We care whether the idea was good.

From hundreds of submissions, a shortlist is selected and brought to life on stage by professional SAG improv actors in front of a live audience. No decks. No treatments. No selling. Just the idea in its purest form.

A jury of industry creatives and producers watches every performance, deliberates live and awards Bronze, Silver and Gold.

great ideas never truly die.

AND GOLD GETS RESURRECTED.

The Gold-winning script will be produced by hungryman and our production and post partners, giving one great dead idea the second chance it deserves.

Our first Gold winner came from William Spencer and Mitchell Ratchik, who dug up a script that had been sitting dead for more than a decade. It was resurrected in 2025 as a fully produced spot for KUL MOCKS, directed by hungryman’s LJ Johnson.

Then came Jagger Moore’s “All Grown Up,” a once-killed coffee script that took home Year Two Gold and was resurrected as a spot for Jones Coffee Roasters, directed by hungryman’s Lena Beug in partnership with INNOCEAN USA.
